Only One Miracle – Is it yours?

Miracles…

Wikipedia defines it as an event not explicable by natural or scientific law.  {Soooo, something unexplainable…}

I recently watched the movie Winter’s Tale.

Love it or hate it… a few thoughts hit close to my heart and it started with this:

“Why would so many things conspire to save a wonderful girls life?  But what if it wasn’t just Abby, what if she is no more or less special then any of us?  What if we are all unique and the universe loves us all equally?  So much so that it bends over backwards across the centuries for each and every one of us.  And sometimes we are just lucky enough to see it.” ~Beverly Penn narrating

WHOA!   Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”  Truthfully though… the magnitude of that verse is often lost or missed by me.  And here’s why… it’s easy to gaze forward yet to realize that where I am is because of everything that’s happened WWAAAAYYYYY behind me is a bit trip-y.  Now putting that “idea” towards each and every person on this planet… double WHOA!

OK – so maybe that seems overly obvious.  For me… that gets bigger then my brain is really able to comprehend [and thankfully I don’t have to].

To bring it full circle…. there is so much squabbling about the wrongs of this world and what this/that person isn’t doing right.  Nothing great happens without the not-so-great… can we just accept that now?  What if we focused just a little more on supporting the good? O man!  And what if that really started with our own personal belief that we ALL actually have something to give to the world?

“No life is more important than another.  And nothing has been without purpose, nothing.  What if we are all part of a great pattern that we may someday understand?

And one day, when we have done what we alone are capable of doing.  We get to rise up and reunite with those we have loved the most.  Forever embraced.  What if we get to become stars?” ~Beverly Penn narrating

Amy Purdy,  and USANA family member, says:  What if life isn’t happening TO you, it’s happening FOR you?

In every moment we have a choice… from the time we wake up, go to work (whatever that may be… stay at home mom, business owner, employee), to live life and go to bed.

What will the world gain when we live our your biggest, brightest passion?  Now this is no easy task I’m sure.  Perhaps it’s being a beautiful and crazed stay at home mom.  The hope giver.  The lover.  The machinist.  The animal saver.  The you…

What if it is really in each and every moment that the miracle happens?  To really live every beautiful, messed up moment.

What if we never stop working towards a miracle for another?  More often then not, we have no more or less of an idea about how we impact people around us.  So lets never stop trying.

Which makes me wonder – how many might be working towards a miracle for me?  As the saying goes, what goes around comes around… it’s the circle of life.

What if we live our best life possible?  And in living that life we are able to fully give away what is in abundance to us.  It was a gift to us first and then it becomes a gift for others.

What if we all believe there was a miracle made just for us?  What if I embrace the reality of a miracle, plans for a life, made just for me?

WHOA!

If you knew you had a miracle coming your way, just one… what would it be? ~Share yours in the comment below.
